The fixture is now live for round 1 Season 1 2025!

The first three rounds of the competition will be grading rounds to help determine appropriate teams an divisions. Round 1 will be a standard single game with round 2 and 3 being 2 x 20 min games to assist with assesses player and team appropriate grades. The grading rounds DO NOT count towards the competition or season ladder. The competition will officially commence in round 4

U16 Girls Division 1 and U18 Girls will be moving to a cross border pool comp – more details to follow soon

The Club Committee is busy preparing for the new season which will commence the week of 10^th February. Our club is run exclusively by volunteers consisting of our club committee, coaches and team managers.

We need additional volunteers to help us with keeping our club running so all of your kids can play and enjoy our great sport!

Two critical roles we are in need of your help with are

Coaches- Coach a team (most likely your own child’s team). This involves running the team courtside during games, managing the player interchange and most importantly encouraging and mentoring the kids.

Age Group Coordinators- Assist the Committee with team management and player/ coach coordination for a specific age group (U10, U12, U14 etc).

These are the critical roles we are most in need of help- but we could also use help in other areas if your interested- these could be roles like General Committee Member, Team Manager, Uniform Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator

No experience is required, and you will be well supported by all of our current volunteers.

Hello Panthers Families – Welcome to 2025!!!

Season 1 2025 will commence the week of 10^th February. We are starting to put teams together now for the new season and are looking for new U10 (Kids born in 2016, 2017 or 2018) Boys and Girls to join our club. We also have opening in U12 Girls.

Junior Comps U12’s to U18’s
Round 16 – Final Regular Round: This is the last round of regular competition, where teams will be aiming to secure their spot in the finals or improve their positions on the table.

Two Rounds of Finals:

• Week 1: The top four teams from each division will compete. These are knockout-style matches where the winners advance.
• Week 2: The winning teams from Week 1 will face each other in the Grand Final match to determine the winner of Season 2, 2024.
  

Playing Shirt Collections
Shirt Return After Last Game:

• If your team isn’t playing in the finals, you’ll need to return your playing shirts after your game this week.
• Make sure to bring a shirt to change into after your game, as the playing shirt will need to be returned.
  

Importance of Returning Shirts:

• It’s crucial for the Club to get the singlets back, as they will be reused for next season.
• Non-returned shirts will incur a replacement cost, so it’s important to ensure your shirt is returned on time.
  

U10’s Competitions
No Finals for U10s:

The U10 teams will not be participating in the finals, meaning their season will continue through to the first week of finals with their last game being played on Friday 6th December 2024.

Junior Comps U12’s to U18’s
The Albury BB Association has informed us the final round of regular competition for this season will be Round 16, which finishes 29/11/2024. There will then be two rounds of finals played, with the top four teams in each Division playing week 1 and game winners playing through to a final in Week 2. last day of 2024 competition will be Dec 13th.

U10’s Competitions
There are no finals for U10, but all teams will continue to play during the first final round with the last games played Friday Dec 6th

Playing Shirt Collections
Panthers Club will be communicating with each team via your coaches to arrange for collection of playing shirts after the completion of your last game, so this will start from next week for teams not playing finals. You will need to bring a shirt to change into on your last game

For those participating in competitions at Scots School please see some important

details below:

Parking

Parking is not available on site anywhere. Do not enter either the Young Street or

Borella Road gates and park.

Parking will be on young street itself or surrounding streets.

Entry

Entry is off Young Street opposite The Astor Hotel. Follow the signage to enter

through the Junior School gate.

Please follow the signage and do not loiter around school grounds.

Entry into the stadium will be through the double glass doors on the side of the

building.

Do not enter through the single door at the back of the building.

Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to the start of your game.

Game times at Scots will begin at 4:40 and remain 50 minute intervals.

Exit

Once your game is finished please exit the way you entered and do not hang around

after your game.

It is important not to overcrowd the building.

Spectators

Siblings and all children must be supervised in the stadium at all times.

No one is permitted on the oval, tennis courts or within the school grounds at any

time.

We are very fortunate to have access to this facility to be able to continue to run our

competitions during this refurbishment, however it remains school property and we

are just a user of it. This means that if people are not following the instructions or

causing any damage or concerns for Scots School we may lose access completely

and these competitions may be called off indefinitely.

We thank you for your patience in this refurbishment process and trust that we are

doing everything we can to continue domestic basketball in Albury
