Panthers Basketball Albury Sponsorship opportunities

Hello Panthers Basketball Albury community,

The Panthers Basketball Albury committee are actively seeking sponsors to help purchase new basketball playing singlets for all our junior domestic age groups. This is for all of near 30 teams covering both the girls and boys competitions.

The domestic playing singlets for our junior basketball players have not been updated in a long time. Some are starting to look very old and tired, and we often don’t have enough sizes for all players. Additionally, we are managing three colours (black, teal and grey) over both the boys and girls styles.

We have seen such a large increase in children wanting to play basketball, and we have players registering with our club from Holbrook through to Myrtleford. As such we recently voted at a Special General Meeting to change our name from Lavington Panthers Basketball Club to Panthers Basketball Albury to reflect our players and where we play.

We have taken the opportunity to redesign our logo and singlets and have engaged with a basketball singlet manufacturer to purchase double sided unisex playing singlets made from renewable PET fabric! They look fantastic!!

Our old singlets will be available to purchase from existing or old club members as a memento with residual being donated to disadvantage basketball associations around Australia. Additionally, we have had our polos and hoodies redesigned, and introduced a players warm up top. All with sponsorship opportunities!

These new singlets will be worn by children registered to play in Albury’s domestic basketball competition each week as we play against the other six clubs in the region – being watch on by family and friends each week.

Dear PANTHERS Players/Parents!
We are happy to announce that Season 1 2021 of the Albury Basketball Association Junior Competition will commence on Monday 8th February 2021!
Please note this information is for existing players only. If you are registering for the first time as a new player please contact Panthers Registrar at panthersbasketballalbury@gmail.com or Tenille Collins from Albury Basketball at admin@alburybasketball.com.au and they will assist you with the registration.
Below is the link to use for payment of both 2021 Registration Fees (if due) and Season 1 Game Fees. Please note that if you paid for rego membership between August-December 2020 you will only be charged for Game Fees.
2021 Covid Affected Registration Fees – $85.00 valid for 12 months.
Season 1 2021 Game Fees – $115.00 per season.

Season 1 2020 game fees and registration

Dear Panthers Junior Basketball Families,

Thank you to those who had already paid there registration and games fees for Season 1 2020.
The season commences on Monday 3rd of February 2020 For those of you who have yet to pay can you please make payment ASAP so we can finalise teams and also let coaches and players know of there teams and game times for the season to commence next week.

Please note Albury Basketball Association have needed to implement a general price increase to our registration and game fees for Season 1 2020. This is due to fee increases by NSW Basketball and increased operating costs for ABA!

However, Albury Basketball Association are happy to announce that for 2020 there will again be 2 x ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER of $100 available from 1 January 2020 and a second from 1 July 2020 that can be used to assist in paying for your games fees or registration if it falls due. Please note there are certain eligibility criteria that must be met. See below further information on how to apply for your voucher prior to using the registration link.

Albury Basketball Shorts

This is NOT compulsory for 2020 but over the next coming years Albury Basketball will require players to wear these shorts. They will be available in Black, White and Dark Navy and for Season 1 2020 they can be purchased as an option on the registration link. Our Panthers Basketball Club encourages new players and existing players to start purchasing these shorts in BLACK. They are a high quality short and sizes currently range from size 8 to size 16 and will cost $27.50 per pair.

All registrations and game fees MUST be paid prior to taking the Court in Week 1 (any player playing unpaid will have the whole team’s points forfeited)

THE NSW ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER of $100.00 per school age child is now redeemable. If you are eligible you will be able to use this towards your Basketball Fees.
